The Western New England (WNE) University chapter of Mortar Board welcomed rising seniors at the annual Mortar Board National Honor Society induction ceremony.

Western New England University's College of Business is pleased to announce that the WNE chapter of Sigma Nu Tau has inducted two students and two honorary entrepreneurs into this prestigious organization at the annual induction ceremony held virtually on April 21.

Over 20 students from the Western New England University College of Engineering were welcomed into Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society in a virtual induction ceremony held on March 5. Alpha Lambda Delta recognizes the best and brightest members of the nation's first-year college students. The mission of the Society is to encourage superior academic achievement, to promote intelligent living and a high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals in society. Students in Alpha Lambda Delta must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 after their first semester of full-time enrollment.

Matthew Whinery was welcomed into Western New England University's chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society on October 19, 2018 in Rivers Memorial Hall.

Dr. S. Hossein Cheraghi, Dean of the College of Engineering, announced that the Western New England University chapter of Tau Beta Pi, the honor society for engineering students, has inducted 19 students this spring into this prestigious organization. Eligible student must demonstrate outstanding scholarship and professional integrity. This year's induction ceremony was held virtually on May 15, 2020. Dean Cheraghi said "We commend all of you on your outstanding efforts in completing your degree requirements in an online learing environment. We are inspired by your resiliency and hard work during this hard time. We may not be together physically, however, we are all a part of the College of Engineering family." "It is with great pride that we recognize the members of our national engineering honor society, Tau Beta Pi, " said Dr. Richard Grabiec, Assistant Dean of the college of Engineering as he announced the inductees.
