Victoria Durrett Honored at Western New England University College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony

Victoria Durrett received the Excellence in Forensic Chemistry award at the 2017 College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony at Western New England University. This award is given to a graduating senior with the highest grade point average and demonstrated commitment to advancing the field of Forensic Chemistry. Mr. John Drawec, Associate Professor of Biology, presented the award.
Durrett, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Chemistry.
"I have no doubt," said Professor Drawec, "that Tori will be successful in completing her PhD and will make the Earth a better place as she pursues her destiny." Tori will be continuing her studies at Trent University in Ontario, Canada, where she has been accepted into a terminal degree program in the University's Department of Environmental and Life Sciences where she will be concentrating on Trace Contamination Toxicology and Chemistry.
