Turner Elected Public Relations Chairperson of Pynchon Chapter of Mortar Board National Honor Society at Western New England University

Rebecca L. Turner, of Enfield, CT, majoring in Communication - Public Relations at Western New England University, has been elected Public Relations Chairperson of the Western New England University Pynchon Chapter of Mortar Board. This national honor society recognizes college seniors for distinguished ability and achievement in scholarship, leadership, and community service.

Founded in 1918 as the first national organization honoring senior college women, the society opened its membership to men in 1975. Since 1918, more than 240,000 college students have been initiated into Mortar Board.
