ROTC Cadet Brian M. Mascola Honored at Minuteman Battalion Awards Ceremony

The Western New England University Army ROTC cadets recently hosted the annual Minuteman Battalion Awards Ceremony in the Lyman and Leslie Wood Auditorium. Cadet Brian Mascola was awarded the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston Award presented by Brigadier General Retired Emery Maddox. This award is given to an outstanding neophyte Field Artilleryman.

The Minuteman Battalion is comprised of cadets from ten colleges and universities in western Massachusetts, with Western New England University having one of the largest contingents. All awardees were selected by their military leadership advisors and Professors of Military Leadership based on academic and military proficiency, along with the criteria established by the awarding organizations.
