Humerick was also one of two students to receive the 2012 College of Business Dean's Academic Achievement Award for having the highest cumulative GPA after the first two semester full-time study.

In the Fall of 2012, Humerick took part in the Western New England University College of Business Sophomore Experience Abroad in London. Currently, Humerick is the President of Club Soccer and the Vice President of Beta Gamma Sigma and the Sport Management Association.
