2016 May 26

Katherine A. Betlej of Derby, CT, took part in Western New England University's production of "Legally Blonde the Musical" as Hair and Makeup. The Elementary Education and Psychology major serves on the Stageless Players Executive Board as the comfort coordinator. She is also a member of the tech crew.

"Legally Blonde" is based on the popular 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon. "Legally Blonde" showcases eccentric and sometimes quirky stereotypes. "The purpose of dramatizing such stereotypes is not to uphold their importance, but to combat and shatter them through the themes of perseverance, self-esteem, enduring friendship, and the incredible power of education and love," says Hillary Haft Bucs, Director and Associate Professor of Drama.

The crowd pleasing performance made the last show of the year a memorable one for the Stageless Players.
