John-Phillip Gonzalez Honored at Western New England University

John-Phillip V. Gonzalez of Leominster, MA, received the Honor Graduate in Criminal Justice Award during the College Honors Ceremonies at Western New England University. This award is presented to a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.50 or higher, and highest major GPA, and no transfer credits in Criminal Justice. Jack Claffey, Chair of the Criminal Justice and Sociology Department and professor of Criminal Justice, presented the award.

Gonzalez earned an overall GPA of 3.90 and a GPA of 3.96 in his Criminal Justice classes during his time at Western New England University. He did this while serving on the student patrol and volunteering at the Massachusetts State Police Academy to assist in training police officers. He is an active member of the Criminal Justice Association, the Alpha Lambda Delta, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Alpha Phi Sigma criminal justice honor society, Alpha Eta Delta Chapter. Gonzalez graduated summa cum laude from the University Honors Program with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
