Gina R. Lanzano Inducted Into Sigma Tau Delta National Honor Society

Gina Lanzano was welcomed into Sigma Tau Delta National Honor Society on April 27, at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony. Sigma Tau Delta is the international English Honor Society. Its central purpose is to confer distinction upon students of the English language and literature who exhibit high standards of academic excellence. The society also strives to promote interest in literature and the English language in surrounding communities and foster all aspects of the discipline of English, including literature, language, and writing.

Western New England University has a total of 17 honor societies on campus. More than 600 students were inducted into these organizations in the Spring 2016 semester.
