Cowin Honored at Western New England University

Thomas M. Cowin of Hampden, ME, received the Outstanding Full-time Student in International Business award at the College Honors Ceremonies at Western New England University. This award is presented to a graduating senior selected by the faculty for academic excellence in the study of International Business. Dr. Jeanie Forray, Chair and Professor of Management, presented the award.

Graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in International Business, Cowin also minored in Marketing. He is a member of Alpha Lambda Delta honor society and named to Who's Who in American Universities and Colleges 2013-2014He is a recipient of the Frances and Norman Cohen Scholarship and served as Vice President of the Student Senate from 2013-14.

During his time at Western New England University he was elected representative of the College of Business in the Student Senate. He was also a member of the Class of 2015 Council and an accomplished First-year Peer Advisor. He has been an Open House Associate and an Orientation Group Leader. Most recently, Cowin was the student speaker at the 2015 Undergraduate Commencement.

Cowin is employed at TEKsystems in Farmington, CT.
