Brianne Slade Inducted Into Pi Mu Epsilon National Honor Society

Brianne Slade was welcomed into Pi Mu Epsilon National Honor Society on April 8, at the Western New England University chapter's annual induction ceremony. Pi Mu Epsilon is the nation's most prestigious mathematics honor society. The purpose of the society is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among students in academic institutions. Slade is a Mechanical Engineering major.

Dr. Donna Beers, of Simmons College gave the keynote address entitled "Connecting Linear Algebra and Forensics."

Western New England University has a total of 16 honor societies on campus. More than 575 students were inducted into these organizations in the Spring 2016 semester.
