Austin D. Radin Honored at Western New England University College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony

Austin Radin received the Honor Graduate in Criminal Justice Award at the 2016 College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony at Western New England University.

This award is presented to a graduating senior with a GPA of 3.50 or higher, and highest major GPA, and no transfer credits in Criminal Justice. Professor Jack Ckaffey, Chair of the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice, presented the award.

Radin, a member of Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society, is graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with Terrorism - Homeland Security Concentration.

"When asked to describe Austin, his professors called him industrious, inquisitive and affable. One professor remarked that she appreciated his insightful answers and contributions in the classroom. Another professor called him a perfectionist. Austin Radin is truly a selfless and remarkable young man." commented Professor Claffey at the Awards Ceremony.

Austin will begin training at Fort Benning, GA as a Special Forces Recruit with the ultimate goal of earning a spot with the elite Green Beret forces.
