Amanda N. Gagnon Honored at Western New England University College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony

Amanda Gagnon received the Honor Graduate in Psychology award at the 2017 College of Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony at Western New England University. This award is presented to the graduating senior in Psychology who demonstrates the highest ideals in Psychology by virtue of their academic performance, contribution, service, and commitment to the Department and/or field of Psychology. Dr. Kevin Zabel, Assistant Professor of Psychology, presented the award.

Gagnon, a member of Psi Chi, and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Societies, graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

"Amanda has been a leader among our majors," said Dr. Zabel, "serving as vice president of psychology club for two years, and volunteering to attend open houses to speak with parents and their families about the psychology major and her research experiences." This fall, Gagnon will begin a Masters program in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University.
